Our history

Bioinicia was founded in 2012 as a spin-off of the CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas of Spain). Since then, we have become a global reference in electrohydrodynamic processing for drug manufacturing. But above all, our true value lies in our ability to understand your vision and bring it to life. With that mission we started our journey, and it has led us to the development of our award-winning technologies and equipment.

  • Creation of Bioinicia as spin-off from CSIC.
  • Launch of Fluidnatek® electro-spinning & spraying equipment
  • GMP and ISO 13485 certification of nanofiber manufacturing.
  • Annual production capacity of 10 tons of fibers
  • Development of Capsultek® technology for micron and submicron sized powders.
  • Addition of two Industrial plants:
      1. Annual production capacity of 20 tons of dry particles.
      2. Annual production capacity of 30 tonnes of nanofibers for cosmetic applications
  • GMP certification of Capsultek particle plant.
